Lord Stupidus, a mysterious shrouded figure who controls a secret but powerful underground empire. A master in the Dork Side of the Farce, Lord Stupidus plans to wage war on the United Repulic of Imbeciles. To that end his minions are constructing an enormous, spherical warship called the Dumb Star. Stupidus serves on the URI senate under the name Senator Smithereen, unbeknownst to the other senators. Most of the other senators serve as Stupidus' minions in the underground empire, unbeknownst to Stupidus. Stupidus' number-one lackey is Dork Fodder, who has a mysterious connection with Flak Flotsam's past.

The Klingers, a species of warriors from Sector 8, who fight constantly and wear old ladies' dresses and hats. Their leader is Zing the Zorkiless, who has vowed to conquer the galaxy and give Flak Flotsam a really bad day. Klingers are honor-bound to seek and fight in battles in which they are hopelessly outmatched. When they are not hopelessly outmatched, Klingers handicap themselves so that it is all but impossible for them to survive, much less win, the battle. It's the "Klinger Way." For example, when their enemies fight with ray guns, the Klingers use knives and swords. When their enemies use knives and swords, Klingers fight bare-handed or use rubber spatulas. Klingers love pain, but they have evolved with an extremely high threshold for it. So for fun they run into burning barns, shave without shaving cream, wax the hair on their heads, spacewalk without spacesuits, test electric outlets by sticking paper clips in them, and use 40-grit toilet paper. Lieutenant Thugg is a Klinger, but she was excommunicated from the empire for reasons unknown...

The Derelicts, cyborgs bent on exterminating all organic life. The Derelicts resemble giant salt shakers, and have two arms: a feather duster and a plunger. The Derelicts were created by Control Alta Delete, whom they follow from time to time.

The Billg, mindless cybernetic drones from System DLL. The Billg are bent on assimilating all technology. The Billg operate with a NetHive intelligence, in which all drones think in precisely the same way. Led by CEOcutus, the Billg travel in enormous, cube-shaped vessels armed with upgrade beams and undocumented feature inducers. Billg drones either dress in suits or business-casual attire, and they wear impressive-looking, "Billg Certified Drone" pins. Billg are teleported over to target ships, where the drones scan technology so that it can be cloned and mass-marketed. Billg drones ignore enemy personnel until a threat is perceived, at which time the Billg inject certification probes into their victims' heads, converting them into more mindless drones. Common Billg phrases: "Competition is futile", "Surrender or you will be purchased", "Your choice in technology as it has been is over", etc. Some societies have avoided Billg penetration by becoming Official Billg Technology Partners -- basically, they give all their new technology to the Billg as soon as it is discovered, and in return they are not turned into drones. (Mister Doodad will eventually defeat the Billg by interfacing with the Billg NetHive and issuing the BSD ["Blue Screen of Death"] command.)

TraLa, a childish member of the omnipotent Pew species who enjoys ruffling Flak's feathers. TraLa can do almost anything she wants with a snap of her fingers and a puff of luminescent flatulence.

The Morons, a mysterious species whose members must wear exposure suits since they spontaneously combust on contact with oxygen atmospheres. Arrogant and elusive, the Morons believe that they are the most advanced species in the universe. They fly in living starships, and confuse their opponents with ridiculous riddles since they have no other defensive capabilities.
